Pastor David Pritchett III

I was born in Illinois and grew up in a military family. In 1991, my family began attending a church that became our church home for several years. I graduated from the church’s Christian school and attended its Bible college. As a sophomore in college, I received the assurance of my salvation. As a young person I trusted Christ to be my Saviour, but during my teenage years, I began to have doubts. On a Sunday night in 2006, my salvation was settled and secure!

In 2007, I met my wife Rebeka, and in October of 2010, we were married. We have 3 children, and we praise God for them! Prior to marriage, I moved to the Madison area from Illinois and attended Madison Baptist Church. It was there the Lord allowed me to serve in several ministries including soul-winning, children’s ministries, choir, and Bible Institute director. In November of 2014, I accepted the position of Assistant to the Pastor, and served in that role for almost 9.5 years.

In June of 2022, MBC began a Bible study outreach ministry in DeForest, WI (DeForest Baptist Bible Study). My pastor asked that I lead a group from MBC with the goal of seeing a church planted there. In October of 2023, Waunakee Baptist Church reached out to my pastor in regard to us having the Bible study meet in their building. After several Bible studies and some opportunities to fill the pulpit, WBC requested that I candidate to be their next pastor. In March of 2024, I candidated and later accepted the pastoral position, and on the first Sunday of April, our family began its new ministry at WBC! We look forward to seeing what God will do at WBC and in the Waunakee community.
